Dan Rausch, 25, recently accepted a position as a software engineer at Garmin. While earning his bachelor’s degree at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, Rausch said, he received several job offers and turned down interviews. “I felt that I could choose what I wanted to do,” Rausch said.
